Classroom CEO captures the same spirit of ambition and service that defines Fangzhou’s story. It’s a timely reminder that education and entrepreneurship, when combined with purpose, can change not just individual lives but the trajectory of communities.

-Sir John Key, 38th Prime Minister of New Zealand

“This book brilliantly reframes student life and learning through an entrepreneurial lens. It provides an indispensable toolkit for developing the mental toughness, strategic execution and bold vision necessary to thrive in any field. A powerful guide for any student aspiring to take charge of their own success at school and beyond.”

—Dr Tomohiro Hoshi, Head of Stanford Online High School

"Fangzhou’s story is a powerful testament to how education, when combined with vision and tenacity, can fuel personal reinvention and unlock opportunities across borders."

—Dr Nicholas Dirks, 10th Chancellor of the University of California, Berkeley; former Executive Vice President for the Arts & Sciences and Dean of the Faculty, Columbia University

"Fangzhou’s book lays out what I would like to learn about a founder, who may be very strong in one or two areas but weak in others. While no one is perfect, discovering what one lacks may not be a bad idea at the start of one’s journey."

—Dr David Buisson, Former Pro- Vice- Chancellor of the University of Otago

"This book couples traditional educational wisdom with modern demands, drawing on the author’s journey from a small Chinese town to the global stage to show how young people can achieve transformative growth through entrepreneurial thinking and leadership."

―Dr Zhiguo He, James Irvin Miller Professor of Finance, Stanford Graduate School of Business

"In a world where AI is not only rewriting industries but reshaping the very definition of intelligence, the question is no longer what students learn but how they learn and then create. Fangzhou understands this deeply. "

―Apoorv Agrawal, Partner, Altimeter Capital (led investments in OpenAI, Glean and Parloa)

"This is an action guide written by an entrepreneur for the next generation. Drawing from his own journey and deep insight, Fangzhou charts a path of moving through failure, reinventing oneself and ultimately striving for excellence."

About the Author,

Fangzhou Jiang

Fangzhou Jiang is the co‑founder of Crimson Education, where he and his team have mentored 10,000+ students across North America, Asia, Oceania, and Europe. Raised in China and educated in New Zealand and Australia, he later earned degrees from Stanford, Harvard, and Tsinghua, bringing together global perspective, academic rigor, and entrepreneurial execution. At Crimson, he has helped ambitious students bridge the gap between classroom performance and real‑world outcomes, emphasizing resilient character, disciplined systems, and strategic storytelling and networks in an AI‑driven era.

Before founding Crimson, Fangzhou distinguished himself as one of New Zealand’s top secondary students, earning the Premier Scholar medal in 2013—presented at Parliament by then–Prime Minister Sir John Key. That early record of academic excellence and initiative foreshadowed the arc of his career: building a global edtech company, contributing to thought leadership across competitive admissions and talent development, and distilling practical, repeatable frameworks for students who want to lead their own lives with purpose and impact.
